Today’s post is a big announcement – I added a new product to my Etsy shop that I am incredibly excited about and want to share with you!
I am pleased to announce that stickers of my original Kawaii frappé design are up for sale on my shop! I mean, how cute are they?
Let’s talk about the colorways first! You can currently choose from two designs: Cotton Candy and Angry. Both designs feature a frappé cup with a green straw, a lid, and a green circle in the center with cute eyes.
Cotton Candy has bubblegum pink whipped cream, a baby blue base, and pink streaks. I love the way the pink blends with the blue! The colors are bright and cheerful, and I love the way this came out.
Angry is secretly my favorite. 😉 This one is perfect for those of us who like our cute stuff with a little bit of a dark side. Angry has light gray whipped cream and a dark gray base with gray swirled in. Angry also has some grouchy eyebrows to complete the moody, cranky aesthetic.
The stickers themselves are made of a high-quality vinyl, so they are thicker than ‘regular’ stickers, durable, and weatherproof. This makes them perfect for surfaces like your laptop, a water bottle, and notebooks and planners – things that see a lot of miles with you and that you’d want to personalize!
If you’ve made it this far, I’ll share some more about the behind-the-scenes. These designs have been a work in progress for several weeks (if not a few months). As you might know, I have a Redbubble shop, where you can purchase stickers of designs that I’ve made. While that was a significant milestone for me, I knew I wanted to have my own inventory of stickers to sell on Etsy … so this is that next step!
To be honest, I’m not sure how I settled on frappés as my design – I think I wanted to design something cute and something where I could easily do different color combinations and themes within one ‘shell’ design. I also love coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, and really, blended beverages in general, so that played a part too.
I’ve currently got several other designs and colorways in the works, so these two are the first of many. Stay tuned to see what else is coming, and in the meantime, please check these out and let me know what you think of them! Thank you for supporting me and my little biz!
